He's Five-Years-Old

Chase is 5!

What happened? How did my little boy get so BIG?

I remember so vividly the day that we brought our little boy home from the hospital. He was 5 weeks early, 5 lbs. 8 oz, 16 inches long....22 hours in labor...20 minute delivery! I was 23 and Tony was 22...we were kids...married less than a year! We just had moved in our 1st house 10 days prior to the birth of our first-born...boxes everywhere with hardly any furniture to fill our 1,500 sq. ft. home. Tony and I were both fairly new at our jobs...I actually was in labor at work, and didn't know it...thought it was gas!

Where does time go?

Now, Chase a very active little boy; he loves to swim, play on his new bike, and dress-up like a super hero! He is 42 lbs & 42 inches tall...according to his kindergarten screening...yes, he will be going to kindergarten in the fall! I, now almost 29 and Tony almost 28...feel old! We are in our 2nd home, I finished school and I now have a "career" rather than a "job." A lot has changed in the last 5 years...especially our little boy.

WaterPark Extravaganza!

WATER PARK OF AMERICA

For a little break from the long winter, our family along w/ 3 other families on our lake went to the WaterPark of America! The kids were so good and a had a great time. Chase loved it...even though he lost his shorts on the surfing ride...lol

ADAM AND CHASE

Brynn could not stand it the first day...the park echoed and was loud with children playing...I could see why she cried. The next day I tried a little harder to get her to play in the water....she loved these water spouts that shot up from the ground, and finally got used to the noise. I even was able to go down slides w/ her....she slept good that night!
