Stats...at 6 Months!

Brynn at 6 months

(I will try to post some pics soon...been too busy to take new ones!)

Weight: 12 lbs. 6 oz. = 2% (7% adjusted to gestational)

Length: 24 inches = 5% (15% adjusted to gestational)

Head: 16 1/4 inches = 19% (30% adjusted to gestational)

According to the "developmental" charts, Brynn is ranging above 6 months!

She is rolling over, and over, and over...

babbling, grasping toys, pushing w/ her feet while on her tummy,

keeping her head and body steady when sitting (w/ assistance, not quite sitting up yet!),

and much more!

Changes we are making...

still eating rice cereal...she loves it!

now, adding some veggies:

1- squash

2- green beans

3- carrots

We're on squash for a few days...so far she is confused by the texture,

so we mix it w/ her cereal and she does just fine!

Two "Toofys" at 6 Months!

After the weekend (2 weeks ago) of a fever, the constant drooling (past month), and the sparatic crabbiness...we have two "toofys!"

Not just one, Brynn got her two first teeth at the same time!

While eating cereal tonight, I felt her bite down on the spoon...hard...

there they were...her first teeth!

Yeah!

Also, Brynn is 6 months old today...SO BIG!

Chase's Birthday...in review (April 9th)

CHASE IS 4-YEARS-OLD!

He had a Spiderman Party!

Chase's friends Adam and Jenna celebrated with him :)

(I meant to post this earlier...we had a bad case of strep-throat...didn't feel up to posting!)

New Mommy???

As we do every day, Chase and I talk about the day while driving home from picking him up from daycare (while Brynn sleeps in her car seat). Here is a clip from our conversation yesterday:

"Mommy, your birthday is next after mine," Chase explains.

I reply, "Yes, Chaser...it's coming up soon. What are you going to get Mommy for her birthday?"

"Hmmmm...maybe a hat!" Chase shouts.

"Does Mommy really need a hat?" I ask.

"No...maybe a motorcycle!" he says.

I answer, "Okay, Daddy may like that."

"And a har-melt." Chase adds.

"You mean a helmet?" I ask.

"Ya...a helmet." he explains.

I then continue to ask, "How old do you think Mommy is going to be?"

"4, or 5?" Chase asks.

I say, "Oh...Mommy is going to be much older than that...really old. I am going to be 28."

Chase replies, "I don't want you to be old. Then you'll have white hair. -PAUSE- Would I get a new mommy then?

"Do you want a new mommy?" I ask.

"No!" reacts Chase.

"Okay Chaser, Mommy won't get old." I say (hoping that was only true).

Brynn is 5 months old!

Not quite sure how much I weigh...

or how long I am...

or what percentile I am...

but....

I sure am cute!

I AM 5 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!!
